Recently, students and staff were invited to the opening of a travel exhibition, hosted by our very own Professor Michael McMead. The professor’s work in the arena of photography has long been recognized by his peers, and after a recent trip to southern Africa, he has returned with photos of desert landscapes that are breathtaking, to say the least. 
 
Prof McMead also announced his intentions to do a series of water based landscape photos in the rice terraces of China, where is scheduled to guest lecture next year at the Beijing College of Artistic Studies. Accompanying him will be his teaching assistant, Bella Young, who herself is something of a photography buff.
