PATTERN DRAWING
Course Description
Learn to draw patterns for all sizes in this comprehensive course. In collaboration with the School of Fashion Design in downtown Boston, you will have the chance to find out how to create patterns for all body shapes and with all types of materials, including pants and skirts, dresses and jackets, and much more.

What You’ll Learn

Drawing basic figure forms for all proportions, along with elongation techniques and front/back views.

Model drawing based on high fashion magazines, and the correct proportioning thereof.

Drawing garments, and then garment details, and rendering them in different forms of media.

Mounting drawings on board, critically analyzing and fixing.
Entry Requirements
Students who wish to enroll in this program must have passed a basic drawing course and be a part of the Fashion Program.
