Course Description

This comprehensive introduction to building websites gives you everything you need to learn topics such as logical design principles, visual design, usability, accessibility, file management, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and commercial web hosts and services. You’ll also have the opportunity to build websites for real clients, in order to understand the important role that client feedback plays.

What You’ll Learn

  • The fundamentals of sketching and drawing for the web, as well as the principles of designing for the online sphere.

  • Design and layout of sketches online and translate what is needed into a website.

  • Interaction design and web design with a focus on color theory and the importance of setting up files so that they are ready for backend.

  • Project management of web design clients, and how to deliver timeframes, budgets and more.

  • Critical and creative thinking in the industry, with an understanding of how to approach clients in the real world.

Entry Requirements

Basic computer literacy is required, as well as a good working knowledge of Color Theory.
